CD: On-Disc Print Specifications CD Printing Specifications Template Design Disc Label Printing Specifications Please follow these specifications to assure quality stencils and printing. Artwork or computer files not meeting these specification may delay your order and cause additional charges. Artwork should be submitted as film, camera-ready artboard or computer files. A maximum of 6 colors can be used. Any ink color from the Pantone Matching System (PMS) is available. Please note: light colors do not reproduce well on the metallic disc background. Film positive, emulsion side up, right reading, color separated. One film for each color with number noted on each film. Include registration marks in the center and on all four sides. If printing inside 46mm on hub, color may vary due to mirrored band and clear inner hub. Stack ring on the disc prevents printing from 32mm to 36mm and must be knocked out of film. Disc labels are screened printed. Very narrow lines and very small type do not reproduce well. Type size: 5 point positive or 6 point reversed. Line width: .5 point positive or .75 point reversed.
